 Villa
Taranto is a treasure trove of exotic plants which,
after the Springtime explosion of Camellias, Azaleas and
Rhododendrons, provide a colourful display all year long. The Alpine
Gardens, at 800m above sea level, are home to a wide variety of
Alpine flora.
Furthermore,
the Alpine Gardens offer an exceptional, panoramic viewpoint across
Lake Maggiore and from Mottarone, on clear days, you can see
outstanding views of the Alps.
